Inquiro Group’s flagship search intelligence tool, the SEMLandscaper™, provides insights into your competitors’ search programs by answering questions such as “How are my competitors approaching paid and organic search?” and “On which terms do my competitors rank that my site does not?”
To answer these and other questions, the SEMLandscaper™ combs through the search engine results pages (SERPs) of millions of search terms per day, stores them in our databases, and uses the information to create a series of reports useful to paid and natural search marketers alike.
Advertiser Info
The Advertiser Info report provides details about any advertiser that appears in our database. Use it to explore an advertiser’s paid and organic term count trends on each search engine, its average ranks versus competitors, and its ad copy. The report also computes the advertiser’s primary competitors using the keyword “overlap rate,” a metric based on data rather than intuition.
Keyword Expansion
Leverage the Keyword Expansion report to help identify keywords that may be relevant to you. Why do we think that they are relevant? Because they are relevant to your primary competitors! The Keyword Expansion report identifies terms on which you are not appearing but your competitors are, and it’s up to you to decide if you should follow suit.
Rank Trends / Listing Trends
These reports trend an advertiser's ranks or listings on paid or organic search results over a selected time period. Monitor progress on a particular keyword or a category of keywords to determine that your paid and SEO efforts are bearing fruit.
Competitor Dashboard
The Competitor Dashboard is for the data savvy SEM Manager or Analyst. It allows a user to select any number of metrics tracked by the SEMLandscaper™ for a selected advertiser for more thorough analysis.
SEM vs. SEO
The SEM vs. SEO is a useful report for prioritizing an advertiser’s budget between paid and natural efforts. It compares the average paid ranks with the average organic ranks for a selected keyword on each of the major search engines. Use it in conjunction with our search volume estimates and your internal conversion rates to optimize your search ROI.
Ad Comparison
The Ad Comparison report shows the ad copy that appears in the search results on a given term on a selected day. This report is designed to help marketers compare their ad copy quickly and efficiently with its competitors…and to help them hone and refine their ads for higher click rates.
Visibility Quadrant
The Visibility Quadrant report is a visual depiction of an advertiser’s standing relative to its competitors. It plots six competitors again their average ranks and their estimated site traffic to pinpoint exactly who is winning in search.
